Back in July, my team at work got safety training. We learned how to deal with spills of horrible chemicals, the kind of stuff banned by the Geneva Convention, but we still use regularly to make semi-conductors. We learned how to deal with fire (run!). We learned how to help people that have fallen unconscious in an empty room (call it in, but don’t help them!). It was great. The cherry on top is we got the chance to try on the hazmat (hazardous materials) suit. It was like walking around in a rubber glove. I don’t envy people who do this for a job!
